“Effective communication is the first step to solving any problem.”

Speaking & Training

I deliver engaging talks and training sessions that center on youth care and development, and society well-being. I have led staff trainings and presentations, facilitated symposium discussions, and led discussions at board meetings.

I’ve been told my words are moving. I speak to inspire, to shift perspective, and to help individuals and systems see what change is possible.

Mentorship

My commitment to mentorship began in a brief but unforgettable conversation with my late undergraduate professor, Professor Christopher Ejizu. As we walked to class one afternoon, he expressed his worry that there were too few people to carry the baton of learning forward. His words stayed with me.

Today, I mentor with that same intention; to nurture dreams, share knowledge, create pathways, and ensure the next generation feels seen, guided, and supported.

Writing

I write to make sense of our shared human experience; the stories we carry, the systems that shape us, and the societal issues that influence our ability to thrive.

Through essays, social commentary, and narrative storytelling, I highlight where we hurt, where we hope, and what each of us can do grow, build resilience, and care for ourselves and communities. My writing invites you to think deeply and think of other possibilities for yourself and others.
